We’re excited to announce our Season Launch Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday 31st August, where we’ll host a day of entertainment at Humber Doucy Lane to kick off the new season.

The day will feature a barbecue with a variety of food available, as well as a bouncy castle and face painting to keep the kids entertained. As we move into the evening, there’ll be live music from local favourite Shannon Adams and the clubhouse and bar will be open ‘til late, with discounts available to those with membership cards.

As for the rugby, our Men’s and Women’s 1st XVs will be facing Chelmsford over the course of the afternoon, and our fantastic U16 boys will also be playing Chelmsford - meaning you have 3 exciting fixtures to watch as the teams showcase all the hard work they’ve put in during pre-season.

We will also be announcing our nominated Club Charity for the 24/25 season. This partnership will see us work with a local charity under a commitment to raise funds across the season at our many social and club events.

Both our Men’s and Women’s 1st XVs are entering new competitions this year having finished with fantastic 2nd and 1st place finishes in their respective leagues last season. Both team’s sponsors have extended their incredible support for another year: specialist pump provider Dynamic Fluid Solutions for the Men’s 1st & 2nd XV and digital marketing agency GLO for the Women’s section.

Youth training will kick off the morning's activity and players will be able to register for the season via the new GMS process if you haven’t already done so. The club shop will also be open to get that stash in and make sure you're looking sharp for the new season!
