Join us at Ipswich Rugby Club for a huge day of rugby and celebration as we honour our Former Players at IRFC. All adult members are invited to a three-course lunch, paying tribute to those who have shaped the club’s history, before a triple header of league matches and a post-match party on the patio.

This is the final day of the league season and we need as many people as possible to create a massive home crowd. Each team still has something to play for and the day will be packed with exciting rugby action followed by a huge after-party on the patio with music and a barbecue to round off the season in style.

12:00 Three course lunch
Book a table or a few seats and enjoy a sit-down three-course meal. Our Exec Committee will be paying tribute to former players and highlighting the progress made on and off the pitch over the years. And of course we’ll have a few dinner table games and a full bar to keep you hydrated. This is the one to book if you haven't made it down for a lunch yet this season!

14:00 Scorpions Women vs Bedford Blues
Our Women’s XV take on an established Bedford side, currently second in NC1 East, in what promises to be a fierce contest. With just one place separating the two teams, this is a huge game for the Scorpions and we've no doubt they'll showcase the huge strides they've made this year.

15:00 Men’s 1XV vs Norwich
Our 1st XV face their biggest challenge of the season as they take on league leaders Norwich. The 1s have continued to impress this year with some fantastic performances, especially on home turf, and a win here could cement second place in the league.

15:00 Men’s 3XV vs Ipswich YM Hawks (double jeopardy match!)
A massive local derby sees our 3rd XV take on neighbours Ipswich YM Hawks in a winner-takes-all head-to-head, with the fixture counting in both the league and the Suffolk Bronze Cup. The Mighty have had a great year and they’ll be fired up to end it with a big performance in front of a home crowd.

Post-match patio party
With senior league fixtures all wrapped up for the season, it’s time to celebrate! We’ll have post-match presentations, tunes blasting on the patio, full bar (all day) and barbecue food to keep you going into the night. We’ll move things inside to continue the celebrations if it gets cold.
